Stilla: Pasquale (Pat) Antonio - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Pat on January 9, 2011 after a lengthily illness. He was born in Grimaldi, Cosenza Italy on June 5, 1953.
Pat was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was predeceased by his father, Ottavio Stilla in 2002 and mother, Marcella Stilla in 2009. He is survived by his sister Rosa Lattanzio (Brad Turriff), brother Lucio Stilla (Jenny Ghilarducci), nephew Domenic Lattanzio (Jennie and Aspyn) and niece Alana Stilla.
Pat was known for his generosity and kindness. He was a jack-of-all-trades and do-it-yourselfer. He enjoyed photography, art sketching, building and collecting model planes and trains, fishing, carpentry and rebuilding and programming computers. He had a great passion for food, especially teen burgers, stuffed mushroom caps, pizza, chicken and fries, and enjoyed a period of time operating a family restaurant business.
Pat will be remembered for calling his favourite friends and caregivers ‘sweetheart’ and ‘dear’. He especially enjoyed family get-togethers along with his cherished nephew and niece.
There will be private family service at a later date. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
