With sad hearts we announce the death of Raymond Burnell Armour who passed away at the age of 67 in Kelowna, BC on November 29, 2021. Ray was born in Trail, BC on August 8, 1954.
Ray was an avid outdoorsman and his passion was hunting, fishing, and spending time at Christina Lake.
Ray is survived by his sister, Diane Martini, sister-in-law Barbara Hinchcliff, brother-in-law, Erv Letwin, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great, great nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Hector and Kay Armour, brother Ross, sisters Corinne and Brenda, brother-in-law Bob Martini.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
First Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Ray's memory to: BC Wildlife Association and to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A heartfelt thank you to Randy and Shelley Villeneuve, Manny, Jenn, and staff at Villeneuve House for the excellent care and for making Ray a member of such a compassionate and loving family.
