Ray was born on August 28, 1929 in Camper, Manitoba.
He was predeceased by his wife Ottoline (Harmon) and all his 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by Greg, Gary (Tonya), Butch and Tanya.
Ray grew up on his farm in Ashern, Manitoba. He later moved to Winnipeg making bolts then to Edmonton to become a machinist. In 1961 he settled in Beaver Falls, BC to start his own machine shop which is still operating today. This is where he raised his family. He loved fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Andreas Schmitz of Clark's Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
