Was born in Tonasket, Washington, USA on July 6, 1930 and passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019 in Trail, BC.
He is predeceased by 5 sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife Shirley, son Mike (Carol), daughter Janette (Jeff ) Crouch, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Bob enlisted in the US Navy in 1950 and served four years during the Korean conflict.
Bob & Shirley were married in 1955. Most of his working years were spent in retail, wholesale and real estate sales.
At the age of 30 Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and let God lead in his life through Bible study, personal life and Church fellowship. He enjoyed people, visiting in nursing homes, preaching, singing and playing the harmonica. He also enjoyed playing baseball, hunting and fishing, huckleberry picking and crossword puzzles.
In 1980 he immigrated to Canada with a pastor and his family to establish Beaver Valley Baptist Church in Montrose. In 1993 he became a Canadian Citizen.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Beaver Valley Baptist Church in Montrose on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Barry Rutherford celebrating. The graveside service will be held at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery following the service with Pastor Tom Stastny officiating.
