In Loving Memory ~

"Leave a little sparkle, a little kindness and a little joy wherever you go" -Auntie Mame

Ah, Sandra, who was gentle, caring and subtle. She has a sense of what was appropriate. Sandra was born in Trail, B.C. to Lorna and Charles Blaihut.

Happiness to Sandra was working 30 years for Trail Association for Community Living and enjoying her retirement at her daughter Gianna's pub in Calgary Alberta. It is these two places she received a lifetime of love and friendship.

She leaves to mourn her beloved daughters Lisa (Gord) Douglas and Gianna Colangeli (Rick), sister Wendy McLaughlin, niece Tracy McLaughlin (Denis), great niece Caylee Mclaughlin, nephews Vincent and Paul Colangeli.

Sandra is also survived by her dear cousins Butch (Enza) Boutry and family, the Ewings family, Mary-Anne and Janet Triggs, Arlene Sorenson and family.

She was predeceased by her husband Lino Colangeli, brother Kurtis Blaihut, brothers-in-law Larry McLaughin, Lonnie Plasko, Giovanni and Mario Colangeli, nephew Todd McLaughin, cousins Shelia Ewings and Elizabeth Triggs.

To say how many people love and miss her is the hardest thing to write about, but here it goes. Sandra's best friends Maria Pini, Teresa Babakieff and Cheryl Venturini. Closest friends, Lynn Ford, John Mangialaio, Lois Villella, Karen Price, Teresa Lucas, Dez and Mike Aitken.
