Shar was born May 12, 1946 in Trail BC and passed away February 8th surrounded by family.
Shar is survived by daughters Dana (Brian) & Kelly (Nick), and grandchildren; Brad, Brendan and Keagan.
Mom will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She lived life to its fullest. She spent many years working at Trail Regional Hospital first in ICU and then in Oncology. She took pride in the quality of care she provided to the patients entrusted to her.
After retirement she moved to Vancouver where she reconnected with old friends and met many new ones. Mom spent much time travelling and cruising in search of sun and warmth. She also spent time with her grandchildren who were the love of her life.
We would like to extend an expression of thanks to the staff of the emergency room and ICU department who treated mom with compassion and provided exceptional care in her last days.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Parish, Trail, BC with Father Ben Buela, Celebrant. Wayne Szopa of Clark's Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
