January 3, 1939 - December 19, 2023

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Trevor Michael Price (84) on December 19, 2023. A sweet, loveable all-around nice guy, (according to Trevor). Trevor was born in Trail, BC on January 3, 1939 and spent the majority of his life living in Rossland.

Trevor was the youngest of five siblings. He worked as a plumber/pipefitter for many years and travelled throughout the province for his work.

For a man who never married he leaves behind a very loving family. Nancy (Melissa/Bill), Jody & Brian (Jesse, Nick/Tjaša, Sam/Bethany), Patti & Terry (Kevin/Kristin, Patrik/Emily, Jake), Bobby (Francis) & Naomi, as well as six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his nephew Bob and his niece Dawn, her husband Jerry, and their family.

Trevor loved his grandchildren and he always had treats on hand for them and our pets as well as the various pooches that lived around Rossland. He knew a lot about the history of Rossland and loved sharing stories about his youth. He enjoyed having visitors for coffee, wine or beer, but also happy to see them go quipping "come again" as we walked out the door.

Trevor enjoyed his coffee in the morning and shifting over to beer in the afternoon, drinking the strongest/cheapest beer he could find. As Trevor always said he was a "poor, old pensioner trying to get by on a fixed income."

He was a very generous man and always wanted to share what he could. He always hoped one of us would win the lotto from the tickets he bought us. Trevor would never say goodbye and would always end a visit with "don't be a stranger," or "carry on Canada."

We will miss you Poppa Trevor

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the care providers and support staff on the KBH Surgical Unit for their compassion towards Trevor. The care and kindness you showed each day made his last days the best they could be for all of us. We know Trevor appreciated you, and so do we.
