Langille: Vida (Vell) left us to dance with her soul mate Stan on January 5, 2017 at Columbia View Lodge. She was surrounded by love with her family at her side.
She is survived by her children Larry (Anna) and Joanne (Brent) Tremblay; grandchildren Nathan (Robyn) Tremblay, Loren (Lisa), Allyson (Jesse) Ostgaard and Jason (Rita); great-grandchildren; Madison, Jonathon, Brayden, Logan, Carson and Savanna, sister-in-law Marilyn and her family. She was predeceased by her husband Stan on December 5, 2014 and brother Jim.
To Vell, her family was everything and this could be seen by the love and laughter that filled her and Stan’s home. She loved dancing, painting, sewing and various other crafts. She had an especially great talent for gardening and had beautiful park-like gardens at the family home. Vell and Stan also loved playing cards either with friends or family. Evenings were often spent around the table playing cards.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Fruitvale United Church with Reverend Ken Siemens officiating. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services™ is in care of arrangements.
