POSTNIKOFF, WILLIAM – of Fruitvale, passed away unexpectedly in his home on June 28, 2011. He was born at Champion Creek on December 14, 1934.
William leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 54 years, Elizabeth, son Aaron (Maureen), grandchildren Melissa and Eric, sister Grace Hadiken, mother-in-law Elena Salekin, brother-in laws Fred (Verna), Charlie (Polly), Jim, sister-in-law Dorothy (Ron), numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Koozma and Doris Postnikoff and five sisters.
William worked for many years through the IWA at Hearns/Atco Lumber Company as an Edgerman and retired in 1994. He loved fishing and playing the accordion.
At William’s request there will be no formal service, a celebration of his life will be held at Montrose Community Hall 490 9th Ave, Montrose BC on Friday July 8, 2011 between 2:00-4:00 PM.
