The Beaver Valley Manor Board and residents of the Beaver Valley Manor received a grant from the Columbia Basin Trust which allowed the Manor Board to renovate bathrooms in several suites.
The final results in those rooms have made a big difference to the affected tenants. Using this money allowed the Board to put in new flooring, basins, faucets and toilets. As well, installations provided new tub surfacing and tub surrounds for the bath areas in six bathrooms.
All of this has greatly improved the appearance of the bathrooms and has made the suites both more modern and environmentally efficient.
The Beaver Valley Manor provides low-cost housing for seniors in our area. Without grants such as these, it would be very difficult to afford the improvements our 36-year old facility requires.
