Occupy opinion lacks research

You didn’t mention whether you investigated, on-site yourself this Occupy movement.

You didn’t mention whether you investigated, on-site yourself this Occupy movement (Occupy Movement Right Idea but Wrong Time, Trail Times, Oct. 19).

It can only be fair to say you didn’t.

As a leader of public statements in the role of managing editor it is evident your lack of required research, journalist application and integrity is missing from this article.

You mention no interviews you conducted with any Occupiers whatsoever, any at all with anyone for that matter.

Doing so might have added some dimension to your article which was filled with debilitating and un-empowering empty calories of futility.

Would it not be accurate to say your readership deserves empowerment not doom and gloom?

I am involved with Occupy Nelson and find your article so far from the mark as to being inconsequential.

There’s some wondrous energy coming from this cross- section of ages, some intelligent and well-thought out minds involved.

I suggest you divert your attention away from politicians’ ineptitude you opined on and make contact within the movement. I suggest this for you might miss a refreshing eye opening catalyst of a boat...
