Beaver Valley Lane bowlers had a great Saint Patrick’s weekend with tournaments going in Kelowna and Castlegar.
B.V. bowler Lori Bakken threw a 343 single-game high with a 1065 triple placing her as a number-two all star at the Interiors this weekend in Kelowna, while teammate Amber Bouilane tied for high single score with a 361.
Also on the weekend, Castle Bowl in Castlegar hosted the zones for the YBC Provincial Youth Doubles.
The Bantam team of Jordan Bakken and Tyson Nelson and the Junior team of Jenica Bouliane and Tyler Dier from B.V. Lanes won gold.
The teams and their coaches are off to the provincials on Apr. 6, at Grandview Lanes in Vancouver.
