Club calls out curlers

Trail Men’s Retiree curling was back in action this week.

Trail Men’s Retiree curling was back in action this week.

The Koyanagi four jumped out to a 4 - 0 lead against Coleman after two ends, but that was all the offense they could muster, as the Colemen rink put up a total of seven points in the next five ends to curl to a 7-4 win.

Drinnan got off to a 5 - 0 lead against the Bamford rink.  Bamford struggled to come back scoring one in the fourth, and stealing one in the fifth. Drinnan counted three in the sixth end and gave up three in the seventh end and with Bamford down 8-5 in the last end, the Drinnan foursome ran them out of rocks to secure the win.

On a tricky sheet of ice the Handley rink showed no mercy in a 10 - 1 game against the Horan rink.

It’s not too late to join the retirees for the second half of the curling season.  The next draw starts Jan. 4, so contact retirees@trailcurlingclub.com.
