Nine members of the Beaver Valley Skating Club will be vying for provincial titles this weekend at the 2011 Pacific StarSkate in Cranbrook.
The event will attract almost 300 skaters from across B.C. to the final version of the provincial championship.
Next year a new system will be incorporated to determine the top skaters in the province.
