Ivy Leaguers Brown University gave Quinnipiac a scare, defeating the Bobcats 4-1 in the first game of the best-of-three series.
But the Jones’ twins, Connor and Kellen of Montrose, helped Quinnipiac to a 3-0 victory Saturday followed by a 4-2 win Sunday.
Connor netted the winning goal in the 3-0 game while Kellen assisted on all three Bobcat goals.
Kellen added a goal of his own in the third and deciding game, as the Bobcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Brown mounted a third-period comeback. But down 3-2, with only 15 seconds remaining, Quinnipiac added an empty netter to seal the deal.
The No. 5 ranked Bobcats now take on No. 4 Colgate.
