Darrin Kissock’s goal with 42 seconds left in regulation time on Tuesday earned OK Tire a berth in tonight’s Trail Commercial Hockey League final.
Kissock’s goal gave OK Tire a 3-2 win over Rex Hotel in the deciding game of their best-of-three semifinal.
OK Tire advances to tonight’s one-game final against Re/Max. Game time is 7:15 p.m. at the Cominco Arena.
OK Tire grabbed a 2-1 lead on Rex Hotel after one period on goals from Shane Drake and Peter Sheets.
But Rex’s Del Iannone’s second goal of the game seven minutes in the second period, knotted the game at 2-2 until Kissock’s final tally.
