Terry Fox Run 2014

A collection of photos from the 2014 Terry Fox Run at Gyro Park.

Photos: The Trail Kiwanis Club once again cooked up a hearty pancake breakfast for about 300 Terry Fox Run participants at Gyro Park on Sunday. Led out of the starting gate by Steps dancers, young and experienced walkers, runners, and bikers enjoyed the perfect day and 5 km route through Sunningdale that raised over $12,000 for cancer research. The Trail Smoke Eaters and B.V. Nitehawks also supported the cause, warming up with Luana Martin and Steps Company dancers, after a Smokies tug-o-war with young participants, while the Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue finally broke their winless streak in the tug-o-war, outpulling the Teck Fire Department.
