Jordy Cunningham

I am a reporter for Black Press Media's Kelowna Capital News and West K News. Hailing from Ladner, B.C., I have been passionate about sports, especially baseball, since I was young. In 2018, I graduated from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, all while playing on the baseball team for five years. During my studies, I realized that writing about sports every day would be a dream come true, leading me to pursue the journalism program. Between 2017-19, I served as the Media Relations Assistant for the Vancouver Canadians, a Toronto Blue Jays affiliate. Here at Kelowna Capital News and West K News, I mainly cover Kelowna's sports beat, and I strive to be the first to break a story.
