Terry Lindsay was dealing with lots of wires and lots of colours Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Cedar Ave. and Victoria St. He, along with Todd Abbey of Westcana Electric, are in the process of adding back-up batteries to all the intersection traffic lights in the event of a power outage. Each panel consists of four batteries able to provide over four hours of power to allow the lights to continue to operate in the event of an outage.

Carol Ferro paints over graffiti on some rocks at the entrance to the Raven’s Rock Trail, between the hospital and Crowe high school. The city will be placing new signage at the trailhead and further along the trail in hopes of deterring further graffiti action.

Laela Heidt entertains the crowd in The Spot parking lot in downtown Trail on Saturday. The restaurant was the site of a free concert featuring young local musicians. The event also raised over $500 for People Loving People. A second free concert is already in the works set for Aug. 27.
